Application:

Solar cables applies to flexible single-core cables (cords) for use at the DC-side of photovoltaic systems with a maximum permissible voltage of DC 1.8 kV (conductor/conductor, non-earthed system).The cables are suitable for use in safety class II. It is permitted to connect these cables as multiple-construction. The cables are intended to operate at ambient temperature until 90°C

Construction:

1.    Conductor — Class 5 tinned annealed stranded copper conductor

2.    Insulation — Low smoke halogen-free electron-beam cross-linked compounds (XLPO)

3.    Outer sheath — Low smoke halogen-free electron-beam cross-linked compounds(XLPO)

Cross Section:

1 core: 1.5~35mm2

Temperature characteristics:

Working temperature: -40ºC~90ºC

Max. temperature at conductor: 120ºC

Short Circuit temperature: 200ºC (at max.5sec)
